Christmas!

The little reindeer had her first Christmas!

Santa arried with a sleigh-full of goodies for the whole family.

Linnea was fascinated by her head-bobbing iguana.

And loved her stuffed Nene!

Success!

She shows off her new Jungle Jumperoo.

Phew...Christmas is exhausting!

Linnea's Baptism

A few days before Christmas, Linnea was baptized at an Episcopal Church in Boulder.

Here Linnea is wearing Maren's old baptism gown, which was made by her grandmother Kelly, and dad is wearing his Grandfather Jim Elgin's tie.
Linnea's great grandmother, Ani, came to town for the baptism and for Christmas, along with her grandparents Kelly and Frederic,

and two of her godparents, Nathan and Laura.

She was a little shocked by the water on her head but handled it all in great form.

Here she is enjoying (or praying with?) her baptism candle.

Thanksgiving 2008

To our loyal blog-watchers: sorry for the delay! We had a wonderful but very busy holiday season. We'll be catching up soon!
We went to Steamboat for Thanksgiving to visit Gardner, Pat, and Ali.

Linnea became quite the football fan.

After a monster blowout, Linnea got an almost-naked ride home from daycare!

Giant snow in Boulder!!

Linnea went on her first ferry ride to visit Mary Jane and Bruce on Orcas Island in Puget Sound.

Linnea bonds with Aunt Kaylie...

...and then was eaten by a shark.
